Honda

Japanese company Honda withdraws 440 thousand cars popular Civic and Accord models because of defective airbags, threatening the lives of the passengers, reported Reuters.

According to the company's Sage Marie (Sage Marie), the fault was detected in the pump, forcing air into the airbag. In the Accord and Civic models, they may explode due to high blood pressure and cause injury to those in the cabin of the driver and passengers, said a company representative.

According to the auto concern, because of the defect pump airbags, one person was killed and several wounded.

Recall affected vehicles Accord and Civic models in 2001 and 2002 and some models of Acura TL sedans in 2002 and 2003.

Earlier, in November last year, the company has withdrawn the party cars for the same reason.
